Abstract
This volume explains the creation, the function, and the symptoms of the six forces in body-essence of life(ïñ) ,vital energy(Ѩ), active thin body fluid(òÐ), structive thick body fluid(äû), blood(úì), blood vessel(Øæ), emphasizing that the creation and transition of the forces are based on the function of the essential substances from food and cereals and the digestion and absorption of the spleen and the stomach. Six forces have their own terms, but they are finally called Gyul-Gi(öáѨ) as they are basically grouped into one force.
The main contents of this volume are as follows:
Chapter 1 explains the definition of the six forces which are basically originated from the same source, yet there are differentiated characteristics with them.
Chapter 2 lists a series of the symptoms when each force is in the state of shortage because there is a necessary distinction between the shortage and the surplus of the forces, and makes each symptom clear.
Chapter 3 explains the linkage between the forces and the intestines, and emphasizes the function of the spleen and the stomach, especially stressing the importance of the essential substances from food and the stomach to create and nourish the forces.
